Tacchi Morris Arts Centre

Gabriella Falk was lead artist during the development and building of the Tacchi Morris Arts Centre, 1995-2000. As part of her own contribution to the Public Art programme she led a residency project which enabled year 7 children to design bronze paving slabs which were inserted into the permanent paving outside the centre.

Langton Budville Primary School

Gabriella Falk worked with year 5 children on a fabric wall hanging 2 metres square for their school. Design work was developed from a visit to a local nature reserve and the hanging was made by the children in three days.

Freedom Fields Hospital, Plymouth

In 1998 Freedom Fields Hospital was demolished and subsumed into Derriford Hospital.

Gabriella Falk spent a lengthy period as artist in residence working with staff and patients to remember the old hospital and help them make the move from local to regional NHS.

Patients made a number of textile pieces and a major tapestry was commissioned from Gabriella Falk for the new Oncology Centre at Derriford.
